Computer Lab

Our computer lab provides patients with Internet and Email access. It is another way for patients to achieve and maintain their independence.

Studies have found that mentally and neurologically challenged patients benefit from computer-based cognitive remediation, and our computer lab is part of our psychological therapy programs. Using the lab in therapy increases self-esteem, facilitates interpersonal communication, and helps develop better coping strategies.

Lending Library

Our circulating library has an assortment of videos and audiocassettes, books, and magazines, available to all patients.

Beauty Parlor/ Barber Shop

At Woodcrest, we realize that looking attractive can have a positive impact on the patient's emotional well-being. We arrange services by a licensed hairdresser who is available weekly on-site in our well-appointed beauty parlor, as well as weekly barber service.
