Rehabilitation

We provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy in our attractive, well-appointed Rehabilitation Therapy suite that overlooks Flushing Bay. Our equipment is state-of-the-art, helping to make sure that our patients receive top-notch care. The Rehab suite includes a full kitchen to help prepare the individual for the functions needed upon return home. We also have portable therapy equipment available.

When a patient is admitted to Woodcrest, a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and social workers meets with the patient and the family and create a Comprehensive Care Plan based on the individual needs and capabilities of the patient. Our highly experienced sub-acute rehabilitation staff uses this team approach to help each patient achieve his or her highest level of function.

We specialize in accommodating short-term rehab patients, and our mission is to make the return home as quickly and as smoothly as possible. We are also geared for long-term stays, helping patients function at their highest possible level. Our patients are so pleased with the caring, personalized attention they receive here that they regularly refer friends to us. Should they need another rehab stay, they often choose to return to us.
