Social Work Services

Woodcrest’s team of experienced social workers offers the patient and family emotional support and reassurance from admission, easing the transition into our facility. Social workers make regular visits, providing opportunities for the patient to discuss his or her feelings and concerns.

Psychological counseling services are also available for additional support and guidance. Social workers maintain an ongoing rapport with family members to alleviate concerns and to keep them well informed. Social workers are also actively involved in discharge planning, ensuring the patient a smooth transition back to his or her home.
