Meet the Staff

Welcome to Woodcrest. Our highly trained, professional staff is caring and friendly, and focuses on improving each patient’s quality of life while, at the same time, providing excellent medical care.

Our staff specializes in bariatric care and is specially qualified to handle all needs of patients with bariatric conditions. We are expert at caring for hospice, short-term rehabilitation, IV, geriatric, respite, tracheostomy, sub-acute care, and Alzheimer’s patients, and our facilities include a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. Staff members speak a number of languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Russian, so that patients feel comfortable, socialize, and can express their needs.

Woodcrest’s staff is comprised of extremely qualified and compassionate board-certified physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, nurses, social workers, skilled dietary staff and licensed nutritionists. These staff members, along with our therapeutic recreation department, help meet the comprehensive needs of each of our patients.

Medical Staff

Our attending physicians are in Woodcrest daily and on call 24 hours a day. Our primary care physicians and consultants are affiliated with major hospitals in the area including North Shore of Forest Hills, Parkway, Mary Immaculate, Long Island Jewish, Flushing Hospital, New York Hospital of Queens (NYHQ), Jamaica Hospital, and others. Our doctors provide ongoing medical care both within our facility and in the hospital. We have attending specialists in Gastroenterology, Neurology, Nephrology, Physiatry and Rehabilitative Medicine, Pulmonology, Opthalmology, Psychiatry, Pain Management, and Vascular Disease. All attending physicians are also specialists in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.
